Creative Mind:- This quality is the most required features of a good software test engineer. Test engineers required to assume much beyond what is the prospective in the software or application and the users.

Analytical Skills:- This quality is very important for the understanding the application and the clients requirements.

Good Listener:- This is the excellent quality of any tester to listen to others. Testers know that there is constantly a room for the betterment.

Quick Learner:- Excellent testers must be well familiar with the new technology. These testers are always be ready to discover the new latest technology.   

Domain Knowledge:- Domain knowledge is very helpful if any test engineer is expert in any domain knowledge then they must have deep insight into how can any end user will use the application.

Client-Oriented:- Excellent test engineers must always try to make their clients joyful.    

Ability To Organize And Prioritize:- A good tester must have the talent that is first of all determine and arrange the basic tests and then prioritize execution based on the test suitability.

Ability To Communicate:- Good test engineers must have the ability to communicate with both type of peoples that is technical and non-technical peoples. Sometime this is also need for the developers when they stuck at the time when fixing any issue.
