    Hey guys, Welcome back to "Part 6 - Types on Mask in Photoshop".

    In this Blog iam gonna tell you about Clipping Mask. OK Let's get started.

    A Clipping mask is a type of mask in Photoshop. It may be a layer or group of layers to which a mask is applied. The bottom layer will be the mask layer that defines the visible boundaries for above layer or group of layers.

    Here is an example

    open a new file in Photoshop

    I have an image on layer 1 and a black background on layer 0.

    lets type some text here.

    now, move the text layer below layer 1

    right click on the top layer and select "Create Clipping Mask"

    That's how we can create a clipping mask.
