Sometimes, in projects it is seen that there might be lots of ambiguities and doubts even though the project is started or is under progress, this might be lack of communication or understanding may be from Business Analyst point of view or from Stakeholders / Clients. Either the Client is not able to explain its requirements and fail in explaining the exact project scope or the Business Analyst fails to understand properly the requirements, which in turn leads chaos and dilemma resulting in project failure.

    • Unable to identify the Risk Factor : It’s often seen that project sometimes fail, as because the risk factor in the project is not able to be identified by the project member and it fails. For instance, there is an e-commerce application which allows to design a user his/her T-shirt, in that case there is a custom tool with lots of attributes like selecting color, selecting logo or tattoo in T-shirt and so on. The Business Analyst should identify this as risk factor and should build a prototype which can be utilized in the project, otherwise in the time of project execution there might be chaos leading project failure.

    • Unable to do Proper Resource Allocation : This is one of the major cause of project failure. Resource allocation should be properly done. The Project manager or the staffing manager should be completely aware of the skills of the Software engineer, he/she should have proper information about the technology nerds who can well understand the project and can execute it. Failure in proper resource allocation creates lots of ambiguities leading project failure which should be discarded, contrary to the proper project staffing selection.

    • Lack of Understanding : Business Analyst and Project Managers plays an important role for a successful project delivery. Project Managers should be completely aware of the functionality of the project and he should give a proper knowledge transfer to the team members in the form of technical meetings and discussions. Doubts and ambiguities raised by the fellow members should always be entertained and should be clarified by Business Analyst or raise the query to client for clarification. Developers and team members should not hesitate to ask any queries or doubts that they do possess, other wise it might create a disaster to the project lacking understanding of the project and this should always be avoided.

    • Lack of Proper Project Management : For a successful project delivery project managers plays a very important role. Project Managers liaise the project management process in the form of project planning, resource allocation, project tracking, client communication and so on. Therefore a project manager should be adequate enough in this skills and should do proper co-ordination and management, otherwise may lead to project failure.

    • In accurate Cost Estimation : Cost Estimation is another important criteria for a project failure. Both time and cost estimation plays an important role. Over-budgeting a project may lead to unwillingness by the Stakeholders/clients for further investment. Therefore this should always be taken in consideration.

    • Lack Of Communication : Communication plays a very important role. Avoiding proper communication creates ambiguities and as a result leads to chaos, therefore this should be avoided. Every member of the project should come forward with any queries and doubts, they should not hesitate in communicating to their seniors.
