General Test Scenarios:-

When any software or an application is ready for the testing, on that time testers need some general or basic test scenarios to test the application. By this blog i am sharing few general test scenarios which are very helpful or useful for all the testers.
These are mentioned as below:-
1- All mandatory fields should be confirmed and signified by the asterisk (*) sign.
2- All error messages should be demonstrated in similar CSS style (for exp applying red color).
3- General validation messages should be demonstrated using CSS style different than error messages style (for exp applying green color).
4- Validation error messages should be demonstrated appropriately at proper situation.
5- Default page ordering should be granted.
6- Each mathematical values should be structured correctly.
7- Tool tips text should be significant.
8- Verify all input fields for special characters.
9- Verify for negative figures or numbers if accepted for mathematical fields.
10- Verify amount or price fields beside decimal figure or number values.
11- Amount values should be demonstrated with proper currency symbols.
12- Verify the effectiveness of buttons available on all pages.
13- Verify cookies utilized in an application.
14- First item as blank or text as Select should be display in drop down fields in all pages.
15- Confirmation message should ask for any record in the delete functionality.
16- Verify page sorting behavior after edit/add/delete actions on any data or record.
17- Verify the texts on all pages for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
18- Consumer should not be capable to submit page twice by clicking submit button in swift sequence.
19- Reset button utility should set default values for all fields.
20- User should be registered or login properly from all the pages where these functionality are presents.
21- Verify if social networking links are presents in any application then these links should be working properly.
