What is error guessing approach or techniques ?
Error guessing technique or approach comes under the Experience-Based testing techniques. Error guessing is an approach that should regularly be used as a supplement to another more
conventional approach, in other words the black box test design approach. It needs no test designing and software evidence for the defect / bug classification. Since testers needs to discover bugs or defects applying any way that appears suitable, this kind of testing is also related as ad-hoc testing. The planned tests are considered to be run only once, except a defect / bug is determined.
Few people appears to be absolutely right at testing and rests are good testers therefore they achieve a lot of experience or knowledge either performing as a tester or performing with a specific system to be capable to determine its weaknesses or drawbacks. Just as the error guessing approach can verify advantages if it is used after referring more formal approaches on an application or software. There are no principles or rules to perform error guessing and we can pursue any accommodated approach or technique to do the same.
