    Bug Triage

    Bug Triage is a traditional technique in which each bug/issue is prioritized on the basis of its severity, recurrence, uncertainty and other critical guideline. It enables testers to assign priority (high, medium, low) to bugs and report the bugs for fixing purpose according to their priority.

    The main objectives of the bug triage process are:-
    1- To ensure bug report completeness.
    2- To analyze bug.
    3- To assign bug to proper bug owner.
    4- To set appropriate bug priority.
    5- To adjust bug severity properly (initially set by bug reporter).
    6- To resolve invalid, duplicate and unfixed bugs.

    Bug triage team is a small team, comprising experienced developers or QA engineers, that works on bug triage.
