Alias is basically renaming a table temporarily for a sql statement.
The rename is done only for a particular statement is temporory.

The syntax of table alias is as follows
SELECT column1, column2....
FROM table_name AS alias_name
WHERE [condition];

SELECT column_name AS alias_name FROM table_name WHERE [condition];
