    Hey everyone
    My WiFi adapter is not working due to some driver problem, WiFi adapter model number is Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 820.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter. It is working fine with window 7 but when I installed Window 8.1 it stopped working I searched lot many times for a solution and tried many tactics but none of them worked.
    I tried to go through Atheros official website for my WiFi driver for Window 8.1 they gave me whql file and when I update my driver using this, the device driver got updated but the problem is still there It totally works fine with window 7 but it doesn't work with Window 8.1. Please suggest me any working solution. Or any link where can I find the solution of this problem.

    and updated your WiFi adapter driver.

    You have not mentioned that which brand or company name and model number of your system or laptop.
