TELNET is a protocol that is based on the telephone and network model of the internet.
Telnet is a revolutionary idea to share the screen of the user with someone other who is no one near but with connected with the network.
TELNET is way of providing the remote login into the system in the network.
It is used to provide the remote logins over the terminals by the users who are connected to the network.
Telnet was based on the IMP Interface Message Processor network.
Telnet supports internetworking and the modern TCP/IP protocol suite.
It provides the interface by which the host or the client may access the resources of the another host like the host access its own resources by establishing the connection with the client.
Most TELNET implementations do not provide you with graphics capabilities. It is simply the service which is based on the command prompt kind of service type to the client and the host.
