    RIP is used in networking to find the best and efficient way to deliver the data in minimum delay .

    basic rip routing

    RIP protocol is used with the routing algorithms to find out the best path for the packets or data to be send.

     

    RIP uses four different kinds of timers to regulate its performance:

    Route update timer

    It will display the where the route it been updated while data transfer

    Route invalid timer

    It will display the details of the route which is invalid for the data

    Hold down timer

    It will define the detail time till the packet is not send and the way is searched

    Route flush timer

    It will define the details when the data is send
