Random number generator is used to generate random no as much as you want and also you can specify the range in which you want the numbers.

Steps to use random number generator:

• Select Data Analysis from them Data menu:

• A pop up window data analysis  will appear in which select random no generator:

• Click ok, Random no generator window will appear

• From this window you can fill the desire details according to your requirement

Number of variable is used for the no of columns you wants .

Number of random numbers is used to specify the no of random no you wants.

Distribution is used to specify the type of distribution of that you want your random non to have.

Between is used to specify the range of the no’s generated.

Output range it is used to specify the location where you want your random to get printed .one can select new worksheet if one wishes to have print no’s in new worksheet.
