File sharing is the process of distributing and provide access to the digital media like computer programs,multimedia,ebooks. These all are ways of file sharing.

Common methods that are used for storage , transmission of the data include media and servers, WWW based hyperlink documents, and peer to peer networking.

File services include sharing and transferring files over the network.

• File Sharing

The most genuine reason for which networking comes into picture is file sharing. It enables the users to share data with other people.

User can upload file from anywhere where network is available to the server and that is accessed by all the users.

• File Transfer

   

This is a process to copy or to move file from one system to multiple system with the help of existing  network.

 Network facilitate the user to transfer data to the other users.
