Digital-to-Digital Conversion
This process involves converting the digital signal to the digital data and digital data into digital signal. We use multiple process for achieving it.
Line Coding
The process of converting the digital data we have into the digital signal form is known as Line Coding. It is represented by series of 0s and 1s.

Digital signal is denoted by discreet signal, which represents digital data. There are three types of line coding schemes available:

Uni-polar Encoding
Unipolar encoding mainly uses voltage level to represent the data. It represents binary 1 for the high voltage and 0 for no voltage transmitted.

Polar Encoding
Polar encoding scheme uses multiple voltage levels to represent binary values.

Bipolar Encoding
Bipolar mainly uses three voltage levels for showing data or signal mainly positive negative and zero.
Zero voltage is represented by binary 0
One is represented by altering positive and the negative voltages
