    The AdRotator control will show the images and banner in a random fashion.It will load all the images and banners from an XML file

    The advertisement file and the window type that the particular link should follow is allowed to specify by the AdRoator control.

    The basic syntax of adding an AdRotator is as follows:

     

    <asp:AdRotator  runat = "server" AdvertisementFile = "adfile.xml"  Target =  "&#95;blank" />

     

    The Advertisement File

    The file which contains the  advertisement information which have to be displayed, also it is an XML file.

    XML is a W3C standard for text document markup which stands for Extensible Markup Language. XML is a text-based markup language which enables us to store data in a structured format by using meaningful tags.
