In wordpress there is writing setting option in wordpress  dashboard which is inside setting option. We can use this writing setting for controlling  writing experience in wordpress and also gives choices to modifying Wordpress site. This settings control WordPress' elements in the including and altering posts types and the optional capability  like Remote Publishing and Post by means of email.

To get to the writing  settings, simply take after the underneath steps:

Step 1: If we want to change  writing settings, we have to go to Settings -> Writing options.

Step 2: Then writing Setting page will be shown as shown in below fig.

Below i am explaining all the fields which we seen on the writing settings:-

Formatting: This field characterizes two sub choices for better client  experience.

• The primary choice Convert emoticons like :- ) and :- P to representation in plain view will transform content based emoticons into realistic based ones.

• The next option  is used for correcting wrongly  nested XHTML automatically  inside the posts or pages.

Default Post Category: It is a class to be connected to a post and  we can abandon it as Uncategorized.

Default Post Format: It is utilized by themes to choose post arrangement to be applied to a post or make different styles for various sorts of posts.

Post by means of email: This alternative uses email location to make post for you and distributes posts on your blog by email. To utilize this, we'll have to set up a mystery email account with a POP3 access, and any mail got at this location will be posted.

Mail Server: It permits reading the messages that you send to Wordpress and stores them for recovery. For this you need POP3 perfect mail server and it will have URI address, for example, xyz.example.com, which we have to enter here.

Login Name: To make posts, Wordpress will require its own email account. The Login Name will utilize this email address.

password : We will Set password for the above email account.

Default Mail Category: It permits selecting custom classification for all the posts that are distributed through Post by email feature.

Step 3: At last we have  click on Save Changes button to save all changes which we have made.
