    Template is one of the type of Joomla Extensions. It represents your site look i.e., layout of your site. Templates are of two types: one is Front-end Templates and other is Back-end Templates.

    Template Types

    • Front-end Templates:

      Front-end templates represents the way site looks to the user. Most of the template installed on the joomla are front-end template. You can also make custom template in joomla and install it.

    • Back-end Templates:

      Back-end Templates is the administrator interface looks. These are rarer than Front-end Templates. You never need to change the back-end templates.
