Navigate to Logging and errors in the `DEVELOPMENT` section of the `Configuration`. This page provides a few options used to control how errors are displayed and logged

Under the ERROR MESSAGES TO DISPLAY you have three options

    • None
    • Errors and warnings
    • All message

`ERROR MESSAGES TO DISPLAY` allow you to decide whether to write errors to the user screen or not. Drupal recommend while you are building the site you to keep the option `All Messages` selected in order to track what has gone wrong and when. However, once the site is live you should select the `None` option as it would help the user to have better user experience and save the site from malicious user to track down the error and make it loophole for attack.

The last section is `DATABASE LOG ENTRIES TO KEEP` here you can decide to increase or decrease the number of records stored on the system.

Once the site is live and messages are no longer visible through the pages, you can check the logs in the Reports section

Remember Drupal can properly maintain the site's event logs only if the cron jobs are being run regularly.
