    To update an extensions in Joomla you need to follow the steps given below:

    1. Login to the back-end of the Joomla i.e., Admin section
    2. Now click Extensions-> Extension Manager
    3. Extension Manager page will appear. Now click Update.
    4. This page will display all the extensions that have a new version or updated version.
    5. Now select the extensions from the list by checking the check box available with each extension.
    6. Now click the Update button on the left side at the top of the page.
    7. The selected extension is updated successfully.
