To convert NSImage to CIImage following function can be used.
-(CIImage*)fromNSImage:(NSImage*)image { NSData * tiffData = [image TIFFRepresentation]; NSBitmapImageRep * bitmap; bitmap = [NSBitmapImageRep imageRepWithData:tiffData]; CIImage * ciImage = [[CIImage alloc] initWithBitmapImageRep:bitmap]; return ciImage; }
