Step 1:- To begin adding another page to your WordPress site, discover the Pages menu in the WordPress Dashboard menu. Click Add new.  
 
Then page editor get open. Where we have to add description of our page.   
 
Step 2:- In next step we have to include the title of the page, as Home. Note: If you have nice permalinks set up, the title of your page will likewise be the URL slug.  
 
Step 3:- Now we have to include some  content in the editor.  
 
Step 4:- Now we have to publish our page we can do that instantly  or make it a draft, or calendar the page to be distributed later.  
 
Step 5:-In wordpress the Page Attributes part applies a parent page and layout to your new page. For the Parent segment, you can manage your pages into hierarchical manner . For instance, you could make this new page with extra pages under it. There are no restrictions to what number of levels you can settle pages.  Page attributes also include default templates option that have custom page layouts, so the following Template segment permits you to apply a format to your new page.

 
 
Step 6:- The Order box permits you to arrange your page numerically. Pages are generally requested in order, however you can pick your own request by entering a number in this field.  
 
Step 7:- At last see that page final time,if every thing is fine click publish.
