History of Objective C
Brad Cox and Tom Love are those famous personalities who invented Objective C in 1980 for their company Step stone. They introduced Smalltalk at ITT corporation's programming technology centre in 1981.
Brad realised that Smalltalk is invaluable in building development environment for system developer so he and Tom added some of the capabilities of Smalltalk and some functionaries of C. Objective C was licensed by Next Computer Inc in 1980 to develop NeXTStep frameworks that preceded Cocoa.
What is objective C
Objective C is a programming language which is used to design object oriented programs. Now a days Objective C language is used for many reasons. First and foremost, it's an object oriented language,if someone wants to use the functionality of Coca Frameworks can only be delivered through object-oriented technique. Objective C fundamentally simple language easy to learn, syntax is unambiguous and small. Objective C is very dynamic. Decisions that might be made at compile time can also be postponed until the program is running. Dynamism gives Objective C programs flexibility and power.
