Leadership. The word itself automatically evokes pictures of gallant/heroic figures, solid and capable, and a large portion of us don't see ourselves fitting all the necessary qualities. What does it truly mean to be a leader?

Have you ever helped another person to feel better about themselves or a circumstance they are confronting/facing? You are a leader.

Have you ever ventured up and tackled a part as pledge drive, campaign organizer, or gave cash to a cause you have faith in? You are a leader. Have you at any point simply basically been there for a companion/friend when they are in need? You are a leader.

The whole thought of leadership is one that has been exploded/blown to such extents that we don't see the simple acts of leadership that we perform in our own particular lives. If you have ever taken a move to enhance the life of one other human, animal, the environment, and so on.- you are a leader.

The key word is activity. Leaders don't sit back and wait for others to accomplish something, they get included. They may not have any desire to, but they essentially can't sit back and do nothing when something should be finished. There are two sorts of leadership- leadership of self, and for others.

The second does not for the most part happen until the first does. On the off chance that you can't lead yourself, you can't lead others. What does it intend to lead oneself? Just to not be at the impulse/whim of your feelings or emotions, your reasons for alarm, or the impulses of others.

To have a level of self - control, to have the capacity to do what is important even when you don't feel like it. This is not generally simple. An every day self-restraint like reflection, martial arts, judo, or yoga increase self-control and balance.

The most difficult aspect to gain dominance over for anybody, even leaders, is apprehension/fear. Any action which makes one face his or her fear is valuable, and can be the difference between having the capacity to act in spite of fear, and get results, or to be stopped from acting by fear, and live in disappointment and unfulfillment.

There are many approaches to face fear, skydiving, swimming with sharks, climbing mountains-yet these are compelling and can really put your life at risk. This way is not for everybody, and truth be told is just for a couple "live on the edge" great adventurers. So what can rest of us do to figure out how to face/confront and tame our fear?

There have been activities developed for simply this reason in the self-growth and improvement field-boss among them being the firewalk. As a firewalk teacher I have seen dozens and many people have enormous achievements in figuring out how to confront and defeat their reasons for alarm and step into leadership in ways that they beforehand couldn't have imagined they could do.

The world needs leaders like never before, and in the event that you are listening to the call, I encourage you to regard it, and trust that the length of you inspire others in any capacity to be more, accomplish more, or accomplish more, yes-you are a leader.
