Keyword researching is the most important step in Digital Marketing, as it is about finding and researching actual search terms that people enter into the search engines while doing a search. SEO Professional search for such correct or targeted keywords to achieve higher ranking in search result page with the aim of not only to increase visitors to your site but to get right and targeted audiences and visitors.
"Keywords" are those words which we simply type in search page of search engine (i.e- Google, Yahoo, Bing etc) to search information. For example if you search about software development company in India and entered it in Google you got many web pages related to company who develops software in India because these companies are using keyword software development company in India and related keywords in there webpages. Search engines shows these results because they index these pages with this keywords and related keywords.
To increase more relevant traffic as per your business function and operation you need to conduct more specific keywords, analysis and research will help you attain more relevant visitors to your site and avoid irrelevant clicks and hits on site and your keyword. For Example- you are owning a Furniture Manufacturer Company in local business area (Dehradun or any other city) and keywords you are targeting is not relevant to your business (i.e- Furniture Manufacturer Company India) do you think it will increase more relevant customers to your web and enhance your sales from visitors searching, no it will not because the keyword you have targeted includes India in its end which includes large area and according to your business requirement you should include your local area name at very end of the same keyword (i.e- Furniture Manufacturer Company Dehradun) so that visitors can get converted in clients.
