    • Its usage: To break the barrier of apk size to upload on Play Store

    • Libraries needs to be installed: Google Play Licensing Library package

               Google Play APK Expansion Library package

    • Types of Expansion File: Main and patch expansion file

    • Expansion file format [main|patch].<expansion-version>.<package-name>.obb

               Example:  main.1.com.example.obb

    • Your expansion file location:

                <shared-storage>/Android/obb/<package-name>/

    • Unzip the file to a location and then access the files likes photos or video from that particular location
