    Answer it

    Hi Geeks,

I am webmaster of some web projects and regularly monitor website stats and performance through Google Webmaster and Analytic account. As we know in Google analytic we can track the visitors stats through URL only, however I want to track the visitors stats for one of the project which contain an overlay in an Ajax call. So I want to monitor the number of visitors who are pressing the submit button that is I want to track the event call for that Ajax.

I searched for the addition code to be embedded with the Google analytic code through which I can track the event call, but I didn't find it correctly. Can anyone please provide me help for the same. Any explanation on that issue is much appreciated.

  • Hi Ravi and Ishan,

I already know about statcounter.com and similar online tools, but I am specifically looking for special event tracking code through Google Analytic because other websites are paid and less authentic as compared to Google's product.

Plz provide me the tracker code for Google analytic if you can.
