CakePHP or Symphony2? This is a common question that are arising in the developers community and topic lists this may lead developers sometimes get undermine to clarify users as which is the best framework in php.

Lets talk about Symphony2 first, it is known to serve big projects. If any project which requires a huge manpower and data resource Sypmhony2 is the best outcome. No other framework provides you a better control over the functional factors like catalog structure, installation, documentation and ORM as Symfony's does but Symfony's is slower to learn.
There are several technology like ORM, Scaffolding and php which require time to development, so by using this you can save your time. Symfony's Database Interaction uses Doctrine and this framework also uses Bundles and templates.

Finally, the CakePHP almost every other person has worked on this. CakePHP is faster to learn. CakePHP philosophy is similar to Ruby on Rails. CakePHP is lighter than Symfony.
Closely integrated elements reduce the chance of risks and allow developers to freely focus on development rather than arranging for different facilities from various sources. CakePHP Database Interaction use by CRUD functions. This framework is currently under MIT license and with lager open source community member who makes it a strong and standard solution to have for various challenges whenever needs.
