    Angular7 is a major release, so in this tutorial we will see what new we have got in Angular7.

    It include expanding entire platform including core framework, angular material and the CLI with synchronized major versions. This release has enabled several major partner launches.

    1. Update your current version to latest v7 :

         ng update @angular/cli @angular/core

    2. CLI Prompts:

            This feature prompts you some helping commands like routing or scss support.

            you can use x-prompt key to a Schematics collection.

    "routing": {
      "type": "boolean",
      "description": "Generates a routing module.",
      "default": false,
      "x-prompt": "Would you like to add Angular routing?"
    },

    3. Improve Application Performance :

    •    Automatically remove reflect-metadata from polyfills.ts from production as it is unnecessary. And then include it as a build step when building your application in JIT mode.
    • You can Bundle Budget using in CLI. you can set warning and error while bundling is get more than 2m, or 5mb

       These budgets are easy to change in your angular.json.

      "budgets": [{
        "type": "initial",
        "maximumWarning": "2mb",
        "maximumError": "5mb"
      }]

    4. Angular Material & the CDK is available to use virtual scrolling and drag and drop by importing the DragDropModule or the ScrollingModule.

    5. Angular Elements now supports content projection using web standards for custom elements.

    <my-custom-element>This content can be projected!</my-custom-element>

    6. Partner Launches as below:

    • Angular Console — A downloadable console for starting and running Angular projects on your local machine
    • @angular/fire — AngularFire has a new home on npm, and has its first stable release for Angular
    • NativeScript — It’s now possible to have a single project that builds for both web and installed mobile with NativeScript
    • StackBlitz — StackBlitz 2.0 has been released and now includes the Angular Language Service, and more features like tabbed editing
