    What Is Stress Testing?

Stress testing is also a kind of performance testing. This testing also comes under the non functional testing. Stress testing is applied to determine the performance of a system or component at or beyond the limits of its defined requirements. Stress testing is a form of software testing. By using the stress testing we can ascertain the stability of a provided system. The main objective of stress testing is to ensure that the system fails and recovers satisfactorily. In stress testing, a point, where the application crashes or fails to respond , is located through gradually increasing the load or depleting the systems resources, to check whether the application is stable to operate correctly.

The objectives of the stress tests are almost to be assure the software or application does not smash in circumstances of incomplete computing assets (for exp disk space or memory).

There are many types of stress tests. Few are mentioned as below:-

1- Dobutamine or Adenosine Stress Test
    2- Nuclear stress test
    3- Treadmill stress test
