Reddit is one of the most popular sites that can generate huge amount of traffic to your website, video, blog etc. Being shadowbanned is the worst situation. Reddit has its own way to stop spammers from spamming. On other websites, you at least know that your account has been suspended or not. Here, Reddit silently hides your post and comments from other users.

All your effort goes in vain.

Various method to keep a check on Shadowban:

Method 1:

• Go to Reddit.com
• Login with username and password
• Load the user page like https://www.reddit.com/user/username
• Copy that URL and try it in another browser
• If you don’t have another browser, Logoff and refresh the same user page.
• If you see  a “page not found” error, then your Reddit account is shadowbanned.

Method 2:

There are several online tools to check whether or not your Reddit is shadowbanned. Null programm is my personal favorite: http://nullprogram.com/am-i-shadowbanned/

• Just open the above link
• Enter your reddit username below and get the message
• If ‘USERNAME’ is shadowbanned or deleted, you know what it means.
• Else your ‘USERNAME’ is normal.

Method 3:

If needed, check whether your account is shadowbanned or not:

• Just visit the /r/ShadowBanned/
• Submit a new text post at the right hand blue button on the right hand side
• A bot’s response from a /u/ShadowBannedBot may be received by you within an hour, provided your account is not shadowbanned.

Method 4:

Another online tool to just not only check your account suspension but also get insight into your reddit activity.

• Open the http://snoopsnoo.com/
• Input Reddit ‘USERNAME’, and hit enter
• Or Press ‘GO’.
• If you see below message; it means either you are shadowbanned or you entered the wrong username
• User not found. If you're sure the username is correct, you may have been shadowbanned - go to /r/ShadowBan/ to find out!
• Else show your account activity
