    Comment on it

When it comes to plastic manufacturing, two procedures pop up into our minds, i.e., injection molding and blow molding. While injection molding processes plastics to form solid products, blow molding processes to create hollow plastic components like bottles and plastic containers. For the high-volume manufacturing of plastic components, we use injection molding. The components may vary from very large size to small ones, which usually demand high-precision accuracy.

Facfox specializes in providing high-end products with maximum efficiency and bulk delivery worldwide. You would get all your requirements fulfilled at one place like thermoplastic injection molding, cnc machining services, 3d printing services, etc.

Let us see the different types of Injection molding Services available to fulfill your needs below:

    Thermoplastic Injection Molding

This process involves thermoplastic polymer to create functional plastic parts by injecting them into a pre-made mold. It differs from the thermo-setting injection as you can again melt the solid plastic so formed in the thermoplastic injection molding sequence. It has further sub-categories like rapid prototyping plastic injection molding through which a prototype or final product is created.  The bulk order confirmation of the injection molding category is done after full production based on the prototype.

    Over Molding

Over molding typically means molding of one material over another substance to add more strength and durability to it by heat and pressure. There can be many types of over molding depending upon the kind of two substances used, like there can be a molding of plastic over plastic, rubber over plastic, etc. However, there are limitations and compatibility issues for these combinations.

    Insert Molding

Insert molding is similar to over molding, but the difference is through it, we can combine two or more components into one finished product. Generally, it is used to insert material in the cavity of other products to strengthen it. The advantage is that it prevents the addition of extra weight, which in otherwise additional parts would put on it.

    Hot And Cold Runner Molds

This kind of Injection molding requires heating of parts so that the molten plastic transfers effortlessly into the cavity to form the shell out of that part. On the other hand, the cold runners are not heated but do the same work of transferring the molten material into the cavity. Hot runners prevent wastage of plastics while cold runners need more plastic during each cycle as they are unheated, and the channels are comparatively larger.
