We can remove the cache from the root folder of the magento in the root path by deleting the files in cache folder of the path /opt/lampp/htdocs/magento/var/cache
The another way is to delete magento cache by usign magento admin panel as :
1) Go to magento admin panel.
2) Then go to system --> cache management .
3) There is the list of caches available in magento.
4) Click on the
flush cache storage button,
Flush magento cache button,
flush catalog images cache button,
flush javascript/css cache button,
They will remove all the cache files.
