In September 2002, Mozilla Foundation developed a free, open-source and cross platform graphical interface Web Browser, known as Mozilla Firefox. Now, it’s the most popular open- sourced internet web browser around the whole world and the third-most popular web browser after Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Some Interesting Facts about Mozilla Firefox:

    • Firefox is developed by a non-profit, mission-driven organisation.

    • Firefox is a multi-platform web browser which is available on iOS and Android apart from Windows, Linux and Mac.

    • Firefox is a large community whose members translate Firefox into nearly 90 languages.

    • Firefox already launched the only truly open smartphone OS till date.

    • Mozilla Firefox, with ‘Firefox Developer Edition’,  is a especially designed browser for developers.

    • Firefox developed WebGL, which is being adopted by all major browsers. WebGL is a technology which helps 3D in-browser gaming on computers and mobile phones.

Firefox is mainly known for privacy and non selling of your personal data to other website. But sometimes it is our own fault, which results in compromising our security and guess what silly mistakes were being made by all of us. For example, Shoulder Surfing sneaks in your username and password by standing just behind you. To protect your important passwords from theft, never save them in you web browsers.

Apart from important passwords, sometimes we have old username and passwords in our Mozila browser. There are some step by step procedure for deleting usernames and passwords in Firefox.

What are we waiting for. Let’s Begin.

Here is the steps that surely work on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating system to delete saved username and passwords from Firefox.

    • Open Mozilla Firefox, There is Press “Menu” Menu Button button reside at the upper-right corner of your browser window

    • Choose “Preferences“.

    • Click on  “Security” tab on the left side.

    • Press the “Saved Logins…” button.

    • Select the web site username and password you want to delete from the available list..

    • There are two method to remove passwords. First, ‘Remove All’ usernames and passwords at one click.

    • Second is individual site passwords.

    • Select the one you wish to delete.

    • Finally, press ‘Remove’ button.

Sometimes users desire that Firefox no longer remember username and passwords in the future. For that purpose, just uncheck the ‘Remember logins for sites’ under Security->logins tab.
