I am new in web development. I notice that in web url there are two typs url 'http' and 'https'. I dont know the deference of these two also when and why we should change it from http to https.
Any can can help me to understand this
HTTPS stand for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure, It is the secure version of HTTP. This protocol is used over which data is sent between the browser and website that the user is connected to.Word 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for 'Secure'. It just means that all communications between browser and the website are totally encrypted. This is often used to protect highly confidential sites for example 'Online banking' and 'Online shopping'.
Many web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome also display a padlock icon in the address bar on the top of screen to visually indicate that a HTTPS connection is secured and trusted. '
Starting with Chrome version 45, NPAPI is no longer supported for Google Chrome. For more information, see Chrome and NPAPI (blog.chromium.org).
Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer are recommended browsers for websites using java applets.
