    This section will detail out some insight on how  to set up the PIM Media Manager Web Front .

    Overview 

    In order to Install PIM Media Manager Web Front, the best Practice is to perform Pre-Installation Steps and Mandatory Step.

    Pre-Installation Step :
    • User must be able to have Computer Access
    • User must be granted with All User Rights
    • There Should be No Security Conflicts.
    Mandatory Step :
    • Pre-Intallation → Installation → Configuration → Test

    Installation 

    Follow the following steps to Install the PIM Media Manager Web front.

    • Open your PIM Media Manager Directory
    • Download OpasGWebServer.zip and Extract it
    • Open the file ***/OpasGWebServer/Tomcatwebapps/opas/Base.cfg in the Notepad Editor
    • Enter the IP Address of Internet Module & Session Manager
    • Enter the Port Number of Internet Module & Session Manager
    • Run the Server by ***/OpasGWebServer/startup.bat

    Configuration

    This portion will show how to configure the Web-front End of Media Manager. This Involves two configuration of two Portions:

    • Internet Module
    • Session Manager

     

    Configuration of Internet Module

    • Turn On the Apache Tomcat Server
    • Turn On the Internet Module from oxobjsrv by clicking on OPAS_xob.exe
    • Make the Setting accordingly by Moving to Presetting → Master 1/ Master 2 .
    • Save the Setting Made.
    Move to Presetting → Master 1

    Configuration of Session Module

    • Open the Directory [XOBSessionManager]\conf.
    • Open the file Server.xml in Notepad Editor
    • Enter the Values described in the table
    • Save your Settings
    • Start the Session Manager by startup.bat
